Who I Am

I'm Tom Skrodzki, and I've been inspecting homes since 1998. What started as a way to help families make informed decisions has become my life's work. Over 28 years, I've performed more than 10,000 inspections across Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.

I'm married to my wife Melissa for over 30 years, we have 10 children and 7 grandchildren, and we live in Russell, MA. Family matters to me — not just my own, but yours too. That's why I approach every inspection with the same care I'd use if I was helping a loved one buy their home.

My philosophy is simple: be thorough, be transparent, and be educational. I don't alarm. I inform. I don't pressure. I explain. And I'm here to help you understand your home — not just on inspection day, but anytime you have questions.
